Perform in concerts for UMD School of Music’s all-women chorus. Attend and study music for tri-weekly rehearsals.

Wrote feature stories for UMD's only entertianment-news magazine. Edited TV section stories for AP Style, grammar, factual errors, ethics and credibility. 

 

STUDENT MENTOR
Digital Cultures and Creativity
September 2011 – December 2013

Worked with a team of six to teach underpriveleged high school students enrolled in the UMD Pre-College Programs about computers and new media. Created lesson plans, created supporting materials and planned events.

 

CAMPUS TOUR GUIDE
Office of Undergraduate Admissions – Maryland Images
October 2012 – January 2014

Lead informative and entertaining 75-minute group and family tours of the campus. Promoted University of Maryland to incoming students by attending Maryland Open Houses and participating in open forums. Hosted prospective students for one day to guide them through campus daily life. Actively participated in recruitment events and training sessions for new tour guides.
