“The world is a book and he who doesn’t travel only reads one page.”

– St. Augustine

There are two ways to travel: through physical space and cyberspace. Both intrigue me. While I make my plans to see the world, I spend my days traversing the depths of cyberspace.

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Maryland where I studied public relations and analytics. Enlightened by my honors program, Digital Cultures and Creativity, I've begun exploring the connections between the virtual and physical worlds. Communication is one of the most important and innate capabilities we have, an information technology allows us to extend communication initiatives beyond our corporeal boundaries.

Through digital media, public relations can flourish. We can reach people and access information all over the world without leaving our desk. We can start a business, develop a brand, build a community, and contribute to society with nothing more than innovative ideas and Internet access. And that's what fascinates me.

Music, art, photography, design and poetry are a few things that also make me smile. Statistics, analytics and quantitative research rev my engine, too.

In this life, I'm content with traveling through the virtual and physical worlds to probe the ways digital media, art and analytics can influence real-life behavior. My goal? Finish the book.
